2D pairs and 3D digits: the way the note is read is different
The pair 15-15 is not the same format as the three-digit sequence 0-7-0. At first, two number fields are visible; in the second, three digit positions. Storage and comparison are also different. Read the product label before thinking that all “number games” are the same.

What was actually found in the archive?
In PCSO archive which was read on 6 October 2026, there is a 2D Lotto 2PM row for 5 October which is 15-15. There are 3D rows that are three digits in form, including leading-zero records. Those are dated source observations; they are not selections for the upcoming draw.
Field-by-field comparison
| Question | Two-number pair | Three-digit sequence |
|---|---|---|
| How many fields? | Two number fields | Three digit positions. |
| How to hide? | Raw pair plus game/session | Fixed three-position text. |
| The same value? | It is possible that there is a repeated pair in the record | Possibly with repeated digits. |
| How to match? | Read the actual product rule | Read if exact order is required. |

Avoid two conversions
Don’t turn 15-15 into 1515 and think that’s a four-digit game. Also don’t turn 0-7-0 into 70 because the leading zero is gone. Both have lost structure when numbers-only cells are used. Keep the hyphens in the raw-text record, then make a comparison copy if necessary.
Range and award cannot be inferred from string length alone. For the matching method and current conditions, use the current manual of the exact lottery product.
A clear comparison note
Write the game, draw date, session, raw sequence and applicable rule. If one of those is missing, the unresolved status is better than guessing the missing digit or borrowing a matching rule from another game.
